Together Gather Bloggers Party 2007 @ Federal Hotel - Part 1
Sorry for the long hiatus..Now it's time for the Together Gather Bloggers Party 2007 report..
The Together Gather Bloggers Party 2007 was held last Friday, 9th of March 2007, at Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur..
Once again, I would like to thank 5xMom for sponsoring me to the party..
Not to forget, thanks to Wingz for organising this wonderful buffet dinner cum party, and also to the sponsors..
Okay..Cut things short..There's something I would like to rant about though..
The traffic congestion was so damn poor on that day..I was stuck in the traffic jam with Earl-Ku, Jessbabe, and my gal Josephine for an hour, at a place of 5-10 minutes walking distance..
*At Jalan Bukit Bintang*
Imagine this..I was at Jalan Bukit Bintang..From the traffic light in front of Lot 10 to reach Low Yat Plaza carpark entrance took me approximately 1 massive fucking hour..
*The retard drivers that block my way*
To make matters worse, a two-way road from BB Park - Federal Hotel into Low Yat Plaza was stucked thanks to INCONSIDERATE and DUMB FUCKING drivers..
They occupied the opposite flow hence blocked my way to go into Low Yat Plaza..That's why we were late..
*Party at the famous Spinning Skyroom*
*PIKOM Chairman, Lee Boon Kok giving speech*
*Pennypupz giving out freebies*
Pennypupz, a volunteered emcee for the night, giving out coconut king Kenny Sia's autographed boxer shorts to PR7 man, Zeo..
*L>R - Zeo, Earl, Yatz, Jiun Jie, CincauHangus (Aaron)*
So that's the PR7 man, Zeo, dickhead guy Earl-Ku, Jiun Jie, and CincauHangus..
*L>R - Cely, Hongkiat, Yatz, Aaron*
They are the famous Cely and Hongkiat..
*L>R - Yatz, Jeff Ooi, Zeo, Earl, Endroo (sitting)*
Not to forget, the famous Jeff Ooi was in the house..He's so humble and didn't hesitate to let us take a pic with him..
And the one sitting is Endroo..He's one damn funny guy..
*Me with ShaolinTiger and Kimberlycun*
I've known Kimberlycun for few years but we didn't really contact though..It's nice to meet her at the party..
Of course, she's seen at parties with ShaolinTiger, as well as this..
*Jessbabe and Yatz*
She's Jessbabe with her flipping skirt..
I guess that's all for Part 1..Stay tune for Part 2..

It was Chap Goh Meh on the last Sunday..
Chap Goh Meh is the 15th Day of the New Year of Lunar Calendar, and is also the Valentine's Day of the Lunar Calendar..
Every single status people will go out to hunt for food a.k.a partners of the opposite sex (it might applies to gays too)..
I went to the Taman Tasik Permaisuri at Bandar Tun Razak, which was being famous to held events for Chap Goh Meh festive, with some friends..
It's my first ever visit to the park for that festive celebration..
Some of the crowd were really well-prepared for the thing, as they dressed in their 'combat-gear' to face the opponent..
On that very dark night in the hot and crowded park, the people dressed as if they were going to air-conditioned shopping complexes..
*The park*
*Can't really see the crowd..But they were queue-ing for the 'combat'*
*Indeed a fine night to confess your love under the full moon*

*Guys and girls separated into 2 groups*
As everyone knows, during Chap Goh Meh, girls will throw mandarin oranges into a pond or river for their soon-to-be partner to pick it up..
As for guys, they'll throw bananas into a pond or river for their soon-to-be partner to pick it up as well..
There was a guy, holding a bouquet of roses for the one whom pick up his 'banana'..
He called the mobile phone contact number written on the orange, and the girl picked up the phone..
Then, the guy stupidly get down on his knees and give the flower to the girl, and said, "I hope you will remember me and this very moment forever"..
That's a stupid and lame action..But if the girl is an Anna Kournikova look-alike, I wouldn't mind doing that ..Hehe..
How's your Chap Goh Meh going on.?

Tagged - 5 Reasons Why I Blog
Thanks to Jen Ni, who had tagged me with another meme, quite some time ago..Now only I got the time to reply her tag..
I think I did it before, perhaps a couple of years back..Oh well, I'll do it again..
So here comes my "5 Reasons Why I Blog"..
- First and foremost, I blog because it's fun and helps me release stress and pressure..
I started my blog with personal entries deep down in my heart..But now I've changed it drastically just to please my lovely readers..
Even though my readers didn't leave comments most of the time, but I do know that they are here to check out my entries each and every single day..
I'm motivated when there are readers, and even more motivated when there are comments
- Secondly, I wanted to improve my command in English language..
Although I studied in so-called English/Malay school, but my grammar suck big time..
I can't even use the past tenses and present tenses correctly during my late high school times..
I do admit that I'm not that great now, but getting better than yesteryears..Hope I'll improve my command in English language..
- Then, I treat my blog as a diary..I hardly write diary or journal back in my schooling days..
As for now, I enjoy reading back my old entries coz they remind me of my past and how I spent my life in ups and downs..
Lots of things happened during my blogging years and I almost forgotten most of the big things happened before..
I recalled the sad and happy moments when I browsed through them once again..
Hopefully I'll push myself forward and become a successful man in the future, coz human learned from mistakes..
- Since it's something like a journal, it keeps my friends stay connected to me..I have known lots of friends from my primary years to my college life..
There are lots of friends out there, but how many of them are my close or good friends.?
Friends come and go just like that..They'll leave without a trace even though you are very close with them for a enjoying period of time..
Even good friends didn't keep in touch all the while..But one thing for sure, most of them do stay connected to the Web with our lousy TMNut Streamyx connection..
So the best way for them to keep in touch with me and everyone else is by updating them news about myself in my blog..
- Last but not least, I'm addicted to this blogging thingy..It's some kinda trend..
You tell people that you are a blogger everywhere you go..To me, it's more like a title rather than just another stupid synonym of writer or journalist..
But of course, ones blog has to have contents that are worth-reading, instead of an entry that only have a few words of rants..
E.g - "I'm so angry and feel fucked up today~!! Everything went wrong from the sunrise til now..Don't ask me anything..I don't want to talk about it"
Don't you feel like want to give this blogger gazillions of tight slaps and fuck him/her right there and then.?
It's soulless, ain't worth-reading coz the blogger itself don't even want to talk about it, yet, he/she gives you an intro that suggests something wrong is happening to him/her..
I know..It's ones' choice to blog whatever they wanted to..But please don't spam this kind of entry in PPS..
You are wasting our time and bandwidth and it'll make more blogger people detest you..Unless you are a problematic person..Then I got nothing to say..
So, that's all for my ramblings on 5 reasons why I blog..
To end my part, I'll tag the following people..
- Ji-ann
- Vincent Lim
- William Leong
- Charcamayne
- Dahlia @ Fuzz
If you have done it recently, I'll give you a go but you have to comment here with the permalink of that entry..Hehehe..

Together Gather Bloggers Party 2007
As most of PPS peeps would already knew, there's a BIG bloggers gathering party just around the corner..
It's called the "Together Gather Bloggers Party 2007", on 9th of March 2007, Friday, at Federal Hotel, Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur..

Venue : Federal Hotel Skyroom, Kuala Lumpur Date : 9 March 2007 Time : 7 pm till 11 pm Dress code : Smart Casual Charge : RM35.00 - Inclusive of Buffet Dinner (eat all you can la!) and Drinks
Although it's one of the biggest bloggers gathering to be held, the buffet dinner is just for 100 pax, and nothing more than that..
Up to date, it's already full..But do bear in mind that there might be a plenty of seats pop-up..
The seats will be opened for public again if those who has reserved still haven't pay for it..
To join the fun, attendees have to pay RM35 per pax..That's quite cheap, for a buffet dinner at Federal Hotel Skyroom..
But of course, thanks to the help of Wingz to find heaps of sponsors to make the party a success..
But most of all, I would like to thank 5xMom for sponsoring student bloggers to the party..
No doubt, I'm one of the sponsored students who will be attending the party..Hey no joke..I'm really a student..LOL~!!

CNY 2007 - Day 6 @ Ampang Yong Tau Fu
From Day 3 to Day 5 was a quiet one for me, coz my class started on Day 4..
Lots of activities been going on but I didn't joined, coz I need to attend classes..
At last, on Day 6 of Chinese New Year 2007, Friday, few of us went to Ampang to eat the famous Ampang Yong Tau Fu (YTF)..
First we gathered at Smashpop's house then off we went to the designated YTF shop..
It was packed, as usual..
The attendees were..
*L>R - Jenifer, Junn, Smashpop*
*Sylvia*
*Hikaru*
*And me, Yatz*
*The pieces of YTFs*
*Yau Char Kwai type YTF*
*Everyone is craving for YTF*

*Eat eat eat..Non-stop*
We ordered 80 pieces..Sylvia, Junn, and Smashpop were already full..
As usual, for me, it's not even half full..Hahahaha..Wtf..Hikaru and Jen not quite full too..
So we decided to stop eating coz no matter how much we eat, we'll never get full..

CNY 2007 - Day 2 @ Redbox
SING K FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!! *raise hands up in the air and profusely shaking crotch*
Yeah..After the dinner at Bandar Puteri Puchong, we went to karaoke session at Redbox at Sunway Piramid..
There was a promotion on Day 1 and Day 2 of CNY..From 12 midnight, we get to sing til 6am with a normal price..
That's a massive 6-hours of karaoke singing~!! There were 9 of us for the Redbox session..
Everyone enjoyed themselves and some people fell asleep albeit the noisy sound from the speakers..LOL..
*Jen Ni the camerawoman and Eri*
Jen Ni's singing is sooooooo nice..When you go to karaoke session next time, must bring her along..
Her voice is so damn cun with those slow songs, jiwang jiwang songs, lovey dovey songs..Damn nice wei~ No kidding..
That's what we expect from a member of Young KL Singers *claps claps*..
Okla..Eri also can sing..Her singing is also nice..Don't play play..
*Junn and Ryan singing their lungs out*
*BUUUARGH~!! Eugene also join together in the sing-my-lungs-out-competition*
As you can see from the TV screen..They were singing Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Brothers Romance..
*Everyone SCREEEEEAAM~!!!*
*Eugene looks damn layan*
*Ryan howling..Aaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*
*Junn looks exhausted after the screamings and yellings and shoutings*
*Agh~ No voice~ Hikaru also looks damn layan*
*Ryan still singing*
*Now it's my turn for head-banging..Let's rock-and-roll~!!!*
I've forgotten which song was on the playlist..I banged my head and jumped hysterically..
I got a body-ache the next day wtf..Really damn pain wei..Kids don't try this at home..
This is a friendly message brought to you by Yatz..
*Our very own Malaysian Justin Lo, Ryan Chong*
I damn salute Ryan lah..He held the mic from the start til the end..Non-stop singing..Eh, your throat no need rest one ah.?
Everything also he wants to sing..English songs, Malay songs, Indon songs, Chinese songs, hambalang sapu..

CNY 2007 - Day 2 Dinner @ Bandar Puteri Puchong
Right after all the camwhoring session at Eugene's house, we went to Bandar Puteri Puchong for a Lou Sang dinner..
If I'm not mistaken, the restaurant is called Taste Good or something..
As a matter of fact, it did taste good..Absolutely waaaaaaay better than Wong Ah Wah at Jalan Alor..
*The Yee Sang..Before being lou-ed (mixed)*
*The Yee Sang after being lou-ed (mixed)*
*Fried Butter Prawn*
This dish of butter prawn was absolutely delicious..The portion was well prepared for 9 pax..
The prawns weren't as sticky as what we ate at Wong Ah Wah..That's what a fried butter dish should be..
*Thai Style Fish*
No comment on this..Taste good too..
*Don't know what vegie..Not bad I guess..Didn't try*
*Tung Po Yuk (pork)*
This dish of pork is one of my favourite..It's something like Yun Tai (pork also)..But the pork wasn't soft enough..
Tung Po Yuk or Yun Tai supposed to be super soft and easy to tear to slices or pieces..
*Kung Po Kai Ting (garlic chicken)*
This chicken dish was a last minute order, just for Sylvia and Sammie because they don't eat pork..
But when the dish arrived, they were aleady full *sweat*..Luckily got me and Hikaru, being the food bins we are..
*The guys..L>R - Hikaru, Yatz, Ryan, Junn, and Eugene*
*The gals..L>R - Eri, Jen Ni, Yatz (ooops), Sylvia, and Sammie*
*A random mandom pic*
The dinner just costs us about RM20 per pax..Waaaaaay cheaper than Wong Ah Wah..
The portions were waaaaaay more than Wong Ah Wah..The taste was waaaaaay more delicious than Wong Ah Wah..
And the service was waaaaaay better than Wong Ah Wah..Now you tell me, which restaurant is the better one.?
