Taynton's Fish Ball Noodle..
I guess many of the diners out there knew about this shop long time ago..
Perhaps I'm kinda late to talk about this shop here..It has already appeared in a number of press recommendation..
It's the Taynton's Fish Ball Noodle, Kedai Makanan Jin Man..
*Kedai Makanan Jin Man*
*Along the shoplots at Taman Taynton, Cheras*
*The entrance, the cooking place*
You can see them preparing the noodles at the entrance..It's quite hard to get a park your car there..
*The cashier..Pay at the cashier*
Just tell them your table number, and you'll get to know the hefty price of the food you have eaten..Hahaha..
*2 shoplots together*
*The Fried Fish Cake*
I have to say this Fried Fish Cake is absolutely a must..It's very crispy and the taste of it is so damn nice when u dip it into the chilli sauce..
But it'll cost you RM 5 per plate, like this..
*Yummy yum delicious*
*The Dried Fish Ball Noodle*
The noodle is ok..But the fish balls are very nice..It feels bouncy on every bites of it..
Other than normal mee, mihun, and kuey teow, they served some kinda special dish of theirs, the tang hoon, as in tung fun in Cantonese..
The price of it is above normal price, where my Dried Fish Ball Noodle, big-sized, costs RM 4..
The tang hoon costs slightly more than RM 5..
So if you have only RM 10 left in your wallet, try to avoid this shop..Hahaha..
A plate of Fish Cake = RM 5, Fish Ball Tang Hoon (big) = RM 5.30, and a drink = RM 1.50..The total would be RM 11.80..
When I was eating there, there were 5 patrons checking the bill for their table..
For just 5 person, they spent a massive amount of RM 15 for each of them, totalled up roughly RM 75, in that non-aircond shop..
With RM 75, you can get Pizza, KFC, McD, or whatever it is..
Anyway..This place is recommended if you are looking for a new place to have your lunch at Cheras area, if you haven't eat in this shop before..

Today, 15th of May 2006 is the National Youth Day (Hari Belia)..
For some reasons, I joined the National Youth Day celebration at Bukit Jalil Indoor Putra Stadium..
The government splashed lots of money to make this event a success..
Offering free bus rides to big organisations in certain areas, and bring them to the event..
As shown on RTM1, 9.30pm, there were lots of people in the indoor stadium..
And also as expected, mostly Malays who join this kind of events..
However, there were still like, 8% of Chinese and 6% of Indians out of the crowd..Not bad huh..
At about 8.15pm I reached the main entrance of the Indoor Putra Stadium, there were not much people..
*Malays everywhere snapping pics*
*The banner, Sambutan Hari & Minggu Belia Negara 2006*
Waited for a while, entered the stadium..So that's where all the people at..
*Ok..This is just the beginning*
*See the yellow chair behind the crowd.?? There's where the ministers seated*
*Flags of the states and organisations being swayed left and right*
*Meal was given free..Nasi kandar with a piece of curry chicken*
Ok..Actually I already taken my dinner at home before I went to the event..But hey, I was hungry again..
So I ate a few spoons of rice, the chicken is damn hard to bite..
Well, as expected..You cannot expected the food to be nice when they are serving for few thousands of attendees..
*Yeah..That's the ministers seats*
All of them enjoyed themselves, with Malaysian artiste Liza Hanim on the stage singing her popular tracks..
Then, In-Team, a nasyid group, took their turn on the stage to entertain the crowd..
After their performances, Shamsul Ghau Ghau together with a girl, hosted the event on the stage..
They kept talking about the motto of the event, "Belia Bina Bangsa, Belia Wawasan, Belia Malaysia", bla bla bla..I couldn't listen to what they were saying..
As usual like we were in the school days, we hardly listen to the headmaster / principal / teachers give speech..
When there is a sudden silence or a sudden high tone in the voice *like you are talking in angst*, people will tend to follow the situation, cheered or clapped their hands..
So all I can hear was Shamsul Ghau Ghau shouting the name of the states in the Peninsula, and those people who came from their very own states cheered like hell..
*Now look at the crowd now*
*Mostly Ah-Bengs of the Malay culture*
*Yeah, the stadium was fully packed*
*That's what i call Belia*
*Flags everywhere*
The event was under control and out of control, too..
Under control as in nothing rebellious done by the youth towards the host or ministers..
Out of control, as in the youth were rebellious in a particular way, throwing paper planes and glowing sticks from the seats to the crowd down below..
Then there were karaoke of Allaryaham Sudirman's song, Hoore Hoore..Most of the Malays were hysterically singing and dancing to the tune *WTF~*
The stupid thing is, the song was being repeated at least 4 times..Luckily not repetitively played in a row..
At about 9pm, an old Mini Cooper were driven into the stadium with a couples of Vespa escorting it *with Mission Impossible theme*..
At 9.10pm, the Prime Minister, Pak Lah with his sidekicks, the ministers, arrived with 'paluan kompang'..A routine for Malays when there is big thing..i.e wedding, ceremony, etc etc..
Then the national anthem, 'Negaraku' was played on the PA system to kick off the event, followed by prayers for the Muslims..
At about 9.25pm, Pak Lah gave his speech about the motto, "Belia Bina Bangsa, Belia Wawasan, Belia Malaysia"..
I couldn't hear a single word from him, blame the lousy PA sound system..
Ok..Perhaps because I'm seated next to stage and was afar from the stage.??
Yet, people still cheered and clapped their hands at certain moments in his speech..I guess they knew the procedure in attending events..
Low-tone, keep quiet..Hi-tone, clap hands..Hi-tone and pause for a moment, cheer and clap hands..Yeah, you got that right..
If I'm not mistaken, Pak Lah showed a WTF-face expression when the crowd cheered to his thoughtful speech..
He must be wondering, how the hell the crowd could listen to him and cheered for him, when he himself couldn't listen to his voice clearly from the PA system..Hahaha..
So I just acted non-chalant about his speech and play with my mobile phone's games..
At about 9.50pm, the speech ended..And I proceeded to walk out of the stadium, albeit performances still running on, and headed back home to blog about the event..

Alright..It's my first stupid visit to the Ikea with my family..
It was on Friday, the Wesak Day, so it was a public holiday..Quite packed..
All the things are famously known for their hefty prices..Some goods are even up to no good if you buy it..
Though, I have to say some of the goods are worth the price they tagged it, because of the design and perhaps the usefulness of it..
*The first section of all, the Living Room*
*If you notice there's a person on the red sofa..A lady was sleeping on the sofa*
Needless to say, the sofas and couches are damn comfortable and nice to put your butts on..
*An ideal PC table for me ^^*
Ok..The 3 following pics will be a set of goods comparison of the same price..
All of the 3 items are priced at RM 99..You decide which one to buy..Perhaps none of them are worth it..Hahaha..
*A 5-storeys bookshelf*
This 5-storeys bookshelf is quite good..Just that the width is just so-so..Not quite wide enough..
Ok, maybe it'll save some space in your room..
*A long legged chair*
You can warm your butts on this chair anywhere and everywhere in Ikea..
It's available everywhere at the foodcourt and many other places..
*A decorative crystal/glass egg*
This thing here is up to no use, priced at RM 99..Once broken consider stupid for buying it..Hahaha..
*Nice kitchen*
*Another ideal PC table cum study table for me*
I just love this table and perhaps the LCD monitor as well..Hahaha..
*The work section*
*Nice couch, indeed*
*A set of shoe case (3 compartments)*
I can't remember the price of it..It is probably RM 89 or RM 100++..
*My messy bedroom*
Well yeah..It will be my messy room if I move in to Ikea *grins*..
*A luxury bedroom for the newly-weds*
*The shoe rack*
Now I have to say this is 1 creative and innovative design for shoe rack..
With all those thingies to place your shoes, you don't have to pile up your shoes on one after another or line them up in a long row, if you owned like, 10 pair of shoes.??
This rack can store up to 16 pair of shoes..Difficult to put and take it from the inner rows.?
No worries..With rollers and slides, you can pull it out for better management..
*With rollers, you can just pull it out easily*
How much does it costs.?? If I'm not mistaken, around RM 450 or something..
Well ok..There are pros, and of course there are cons..
You don't wish to put your dirty-moisted shoes in the beautiful rack, right.?
Why the heck would I want to place my shoes nicely on those thingies.?? I will just throw my shoes in it and the shoes are starting to pile up on one another..
Anyway..It's worth it if you are a person of hygiene and neat..No mess in the rack..
1 more thing I have to say is, the hotdog and curry puff sold on the ground floor of the exit of the showroom does tastes good..Hahaha..And the price are reasonable..
*The Punishment Chair~~*
Ok..This chair here looks silly..
At first I thought, "Who the heck are gonna sit on that chair being crushed and pressed like hell on the crotch.?!?!"
Then, after a while of recording this video, only I realised that stupid machine is just showing how comfortable and durable the chair is, with that kind of elasticity..

Ok..This is one stupid filler entry..Hahaha..
It is some what a super-delayed post, because I got the CD like 2 months ago..
An ex-coursemate of mine went for the Industrial Training (LI - Latihan Industri) in an entertainment industry company..
So they were having some kinda giveaways of Angela Zhang Xiao Han's (is it spelt correctly.?) CD, titled Pandora..
If you hardly know who is Angela Zhang, remember a song with a catchy phrase in the lyrics, "Luan Tiau", where you might mistook it as "Lan Jiao".??
Remember that.?? "Luan Tiau" as in take off your clothes, and "Lan Jiao" as in cock / penis, of course..
Another Jolin Tsai wannabe, following footsteps like Cyndi Wang and many other standalone young female artistes..
All I have to do is send a SMS to a number and wait for the notification if I won the giveaway CD..
Ok..I didn't sent it..It was my youngest sis who sent it, but I'm the one who dealt with my friend about the delivery..
After about 1 week, the delivery was here..
*The box set of Angela's CD*
*Angel-aaaa*
*The back view of the box*
*A CD + VCD box set worth RM 50.50, which I got it for free.!!*
*A plastic box set in a hardcover paper box*
*The inner beauty*
*The VCD cover*
*Un-cover the VCD*
*VCD, with MTVs and behind the scenes*
*The lyrics booklet*
*Ok..I hardly understand Chinese words*
So that's all for this filler entry..Hahaha..Kinda bimbo eh..I don't listen to it, but my sister did..Haha..
Anyway..LONG LIVE MUSIC~!!

The Soul Returns and Happy Birthday..
Alright..2 days ago, was the day where my mom's soul return home, here to pay a visit to us..Refer to Memoirs On My Mom's Funeral..
Some ritual was held in the living room and none of us is allowed to walk out of the room, in order not to disturb my mom..
So my dad and I slept in my sisters room and we played gin rummy..Hahaha..
Well..According to the medium, playing gin rummy or mahjong, will not diturb the deads walking around the house and enjoy their meal, as long as we don't step into the living room..
*The offerings for the ritual*
*Before the ritual started*
*There, the ritual is about to start*
*Lot of food and drinks*
*Lights off*
*The offerings to the dead*
*Namo Amitabha.??*
Ok..What's with the food and cans of beer.?? Like my mom can finish it..
It's actually for my mom and the so-called prison-guards of the underworld, the Ngau Tao Ma Min, which are the notorious Cow Head and Horse Face *WTF~*
Both of these guards are assigned to bring the dead-freshies back to their home for a visit to the family of the dead..
Thus, the offerings are for the deads and both guards for their hardwork bla bla bla..
Like I said in previous entries..Today, 11th of May 2006 is my mom's 52nd birthday..
So we went to the Fatt Wah Temple at Salak South to 'celebrate' her birthday..
*The Fatt Wah Temple*
My house doesn't has a altar for the ancestors of my family..So my mom is placed in this temple, as if how you place those plates on the altar in your home..
*The cake for my mom*
*52nd birthday*
*What a cake*
*The place of my mom's before going up to the racks*
*Candles lighted*

*HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM~~*
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to my mom~~ Happy birthday to you..

Memoirs Of My Mom's Funeral..
DISCLAIMER : This entry might contain some images that will freak the shit out of you..So just be prepared for the images or you can just leave once and for all..
Ok..I can start my story now..Hahaha..
Alright..It's nothing hardcore in this entry actually..
Just some pics of the funeral of my mom recently, 28th-30th of April 2006, at the parking lot of my house (refer to Rest In Peace, My Beloved Mom)..
Well, some of you might think I'm freaking crazy, snapping pics of the funeral and stuffs..
But hey, that's my mom..This is the one and only funeral for my mom..I don't think it's bad to take some pics of it for the family album collection..
And of course, for those who didn't came or not being able to come to the funeral and felt sorry for not being here with me, these are the pics for you..
Some did sent their sincere regards to me through those who came..So I think you can look over the pics, out of your curiosity what was happening during the funeral..
*This is when the paper figurines (I don't know what's that called) for the dead arrived*
*The whole 'tent' site of it*
*Ok..This is my dad*
*The altar of my mom*
*You want to see the coffin.??*
*My mom's pic of don't know how many years ago, at least 20 years*
*It's still broad daylight*
*Can you see the coffin.??*
*The paper figurines on the side - car, house, DVD player, VCD player, TV, etc etc*
*The altar for the nuns to perform the prayers ritual*
*I guess the middle 1 is the Buddha, the left 1 is the Empress of the Heaven, and the right 1 is the Guan Yin*
*The stuffs to collect money*
*It's still early in the afternoon..So not much people drop-by*
*The friends of my mom's*
*The 1 who handled all of the things*
Well, I don't know..Try to look for others instead of this 1 here..I doubted their effort in the job..
All of the pics are people-empty and in daylight..The place was fulled with people at night, but I'm too busy to take pics at night, with prayers ritual took place..
*The tents are being dis-assembled*
*Fast work*
Honestly, I do think the fees are over-charged and some stuffs were not done correctly, precisely, and perfectly..
They did some follow-up though, as in providing my family some good information about the underworld, ceremony, and all the follow-ups after the funeral..
Yeah, still lots of things to do even after the funeral..
There's a rule called 7 X 7 = 49 Days or something like that..Meaning there are some procedures, rules and regulations my family need to follow for 49 days, starting from the day my mom died..
The 7 X 7 is actually equals to 7 days a week for 7 weeks..Therefore, 7 X 7 = 49 days..
The first week, which was last Wednesday, 3rd of May 2006, we had to find some nuns to perform a prayers ritual on her, in a meaning to free her from sufferings..
Then yesterday, 9th of May 2006, is the day where her spirit / soul is coming back to our home to pay a visit on us before spending her entire life in the underworld, and waiting for reincarnation..
So the people from the casket funeral service were here to help us..That's what I call a good follow-up, albeit over-charged fees and things done in a dishonest way..
After this, we have to find nuns again to perform prayers ritual on her on the 3rd week, 5th week, and lastly the 7th week..
Once again I would like to express my appreciation to my friends who attended the funeral and especially to Tai Chee Lim for following us to the Cheras Crematorium..
*The graveyard at the Cheras Crematorium, Cheras Baru*
*Kong Yi Tap*
This is the place where my mom stays now (ok, I took this pic in the building)..
Thanks for all the condolences, supports and concerns again..
And also not to forget Hospis Malaysia for the morale and facility support..
*The electric foldable bed with ripple mattress*
*The oxygen generator to produce oxygen*
*The LPM - LP meter for the oxygen generator*
*The oxygen tank*
We borrowed the oxygen tank just in case if there is any power failure..
*Sheep skin*
This thing here is to reduce the soreness on my mom's butt because she can't walk, so she sit on the bed all the time
*Hospis Malaysia at Taman Sri Bahtera, Cheras*
*Specialised in pallative care*
*Referring hospitals*
You can only get the service and care from Hospis Malaysia based on recommendation from the doctors of the referring hospitals..
*A nice place indeed*
Ok..Life still goes on..Time wait for no one..
*There's rainbow after a heavy rain*
Cheers everyone..See ya guys around..
Gazillion thanks to everyone who involved in helping me out and supporting me..
And oh, tomorrow, 11th of May 2006 is my mom's 52nd birthday..Happy Birthday MOM~~
